Zimbabwe Psychological Association


  1. To encourage cooperation and understanding between different professions, interest groups, and stakeholders that professional psychologists work with.
  2. To promote research in psychology by the improvement of research methods and conditions and the application of research findings.
  3. To improve the qualifications and usefulness of psychologists by establishing high standards of ethics, conduct, education and achievement.
  4. To increase and disseminate psychological knowledge through meetings, professional contacts, reports, papers, discussions and publications.


The Zimbabwe Psychological Association aspires to excel as a valuable, effective and influential organization advancing psychology as a science in the society, including government, policy makers, user groups, and the general public.
